Bianca X!

Today was Bianca’s last day at her current school : (  we will miss all her teachers, therapists and everyone else.  Graduation yesterday was very sweet.  She surprisingly kept her hat on for quite a while!  Happily we didn’t miss graduation as we overslept and missed the bus.  Thank goodness for the bus beeping to wake us all up!

Tomorrow, all new bus, school, teachers, therapists and friends!

We are also very excited about signing up for dance class with two friends from school : )  Can’t wait!

We went to the cdls awareness day in Mt Kisco…thanks to Ingrid for arranging a great event!
We met lots of great people, had fun and yummy cake. : )

Just this past week, we’ve been able to get Bianca to verbalize “eyes”, “more”, “ball”, “hi”, “bye”, “daddy”, “mama”, “up”.  It’s been a great speech week!

We like spring!  Lots of outdoors and back yard.  Daddy found a slide, a rocking fish and a picnic table, weeee!  Free is good.  We like free.

Bianca recently learned signs for grass and buggy.  She likes to touch buggies.

hmm…so I’m awake at 3am after falling asleep with Bianca at 8pm…so here’s an update finally!
Bianca’s vocalizing more, still no words (although she can say mama, daddy).  There was a note from school that she said “Maggie” although I’m finding that hard to picture/hear.  She does tip toes, ikot ikot (turns) and skipping.  Lots of running!  Good thing we’ve moved and no longer have neighbors underneath us.  And she’s climbing up and down stairs with minimal assistance.  She’s now at 18lbs and 30″.  Not that heavy except when she wants to be carried for prolonged periods of time!

The monkey costume gets another year!  Bianca went trick or treating at her school and kuya carved a jack o lantern.

long time no post!  been busy moving moving…hopefully dust will settle in the fall.  cross fingers!

Bianca’s discovered walking on her own!  Over a month now? It’s like the walk switch clicked on.   She loves to walk.  She’s so funny.  She’s a walking machine.  Nonstop all day.  I wanted to post a video but it may be a while…

ooh ok, so a quick blog update turned out to be an hour of figuring out why I couldn’t log on to my wordpress account (if clearing cookies doesn’t work, it’s a problem with one of the plug-ins!) , so here I am at 1am…

today was Bianca’s last day at afternoon school :(  we will miss her classmates and teachers!  they gave her a really sweet poster with all her friends’ handprints and a card from her teachers. 

afterwards though, we celebrated kuya’s birthday a couple of days late with a few of his friends.  we went to the pool where kuya’s swim team was having a family fun night.  we swam, they played and then had burgers and hot dogs and cookies (healthy! ;p), and then we went bowling!  bianca partied all night with kuya and his friends! : )  Happy Birthday Kuya!  He’s 13!!!
